Rachad T. Wilson is the Chief Operating Officer of Brevard County Public Schools, bringing extensive experience and a deep commitment to educational excellence. Before his current role, Rachad served as the Principal of Cocoa High School for five years, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication to student success. Prior to that, he was the Principal at Endeavour Elementary Magnet School for five years, further solidifying his reputation as a
transformative leader in education.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Rachad was honored as Brevard County’s Assistant Principal of the Year in 2009. His exemplary leadership at Endeavour Elementary earned him the title of Principal of the Year in 2016.
Rachad’s career in education began as an Exceptional Education Teacher, where he taught at Eau Claire High School in Columbia, SC, Merritt Island High School, and Endeavour Elementary School. In this role, he was responsible for teaching self-contained students with varying exceptionalities and preparing them for life after graduation by helping them master essential skills.

A product of the Brevard County School System, Rachad attended Golfview Elementary, Kennedy Middle, and Rockledge High School. He then attended the University of South Carolina on a football scholarship, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree. Upon returning to Brevard County, he pursued and achieved a M.S. Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

Rachad is married to Andrea Wilson, and together they are the proud parents of two daughters, Madison Amani, age 17, and Morgan Ari, age 12. He is the son of Alberta K. Wilson and the late Samuel Wilson. Rachad shares a close bond with his older brother, Rodney T. Wilson, who remains one of his best friends.

With his strong educational background, leadership experience, and personal commitment to the community, Rachad T. Wilson continues to drive Brevard County Public Schools towards a future of academic excellence and student success.
