Becky Cook-Shyovitz serves as the National Healthy Schools Lead in the Office of Children’s Health Protection at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Her work in OCHP focuses on cross-program outreach and coordination to promote environmentally healthy schools across the U.S.

Becky joined EPA in 2007 and has a long history of working with diverse stakeholders across the country. Prior to joining OCHP, she served as an Intergovernmental Liaison, where she supported EPA’s interactions with state and local officials, including Governors, state legislators, and county officials. She also led efforts to include local officials along the Gulf Coast in the recovery and restoration process following the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. She holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from American University.
